The company was started by Jonathan Pettibone in 2013, seeing the need for high quality architectural design and expert project management, paired with a keen understanding of budgets. At the core of Pettibone Design is the collaboration with you, our client, as the key to a successful project.
Jonathan Pettibone has been involved in the fields of architecture, design and construction for the last sixteen years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and earned his stripes working for renowned architecture firms including Robert A.M. Stern Architects, as well as for design-build companies. The diversity of his real-world experience has afforded him both the expertise in architectural design and construction management, making him a highly versatile professional. Passion for design prevails in all his work, creating richly textured environments that reflect his client’s goals, with a particular eye for detail, always motivated by perfection.
Much of what inspires and influences Jonathan’s work and the way he interacts with his clients is deeply rooted in his international background. He grew up, lived and enjoyed his education in Germany, South Korea, Norway and the United States. Experiencing different cultures has equipped him with natural interpersonal skills that allow him to better tune into your wishes and success-fully work together with you. It also means that he is a perfect fit for New York, the greatest melting pot in the world!
